„For me, I feel like going back to that idea of the ‚continuous present‘: there is this feeling that we are all here with these things, we are all engaging with them and there is no beginning or end. If you think about Tender Buttons and the relationship of the titles of the sections and the thing, it’s always at a moment disorienting because it’s telling you this (title) and then you are reading it and you are like, ‚where am I?‘ Our preconceptions that we bring to this (title). I’m in a way trying to do that too where I’m giving you something familiar in terms of what we are seeing in one level and defamiliarized in another level.“
